In South Lake Tahoe, we have a special group of fourth and fifth graders that share something special—a true love for baseball and an unbreakable bond as teammates. These boys show up with dedication, heart, and sportsmanship every single day, proudly representing our tight‑knit mountain community.

But here in Tahoe, our baseball season is short. Just as the kids begin hitting their stride, the snow returns and the fields close. That’s why we created the Tahoe Baseball Team, a nonprofit 501(c) supporting the South Lake Tahoe Emeralds 10U Boys Team and giving local players the chance to continue developing their skills long after Little League ends.

Our players regularly face teams from larger cities with year‑round training and bigger budgets. But time and again, our Tahoe kids show up with grit, resilience, and pride—proving that heart matters just as much as resources.

Your donation helps us keep this incredible group together, supporting their journey from elementary school ballplayers to future members of the South Tahoe High School baseball team.

Why We Need Your Support

Travel baseball is more than extra games—it’s an opportunity for these boys to grow as athletes and as young members of our community. But maintaining a competitive program comes with real financial challenges:

• $1,000+ per tournament, with 6–7 tournaments per season

• Uniforms and equipment

• Field rentals and winter training facilities

• Specialty coaching and development opportunities

• Provide scholarships to low-income players and help with travel expenses

Up until now, our families have carried all the expenses. To keep this program accessible and ensure that every child can participate—regardless of family income—we are asking for your support.
